In my Street-art-works through the repetition of my secret words, I create a ritual space, which allows the meeting between artwork and observer/spectator. Art has always needed (and will always need) a ritual space/context, in order to be experienced. I create this space through "words", which become like a written a mantra...
because "words" CREATE Reality.

#JUSTLOOKUP - Zuckerberg vs. Assange (2022)
From the #justlookup serie, "Zuckerberg vs. Assange" - https://urban-nation.com/de/unartig-kunstfest-im-quartier/
#justlookup is a series of socio-political themed Murals, inspired by the movie "Don´t look up" (Adam McKay - 2021), in which I build up a serie of diptychs in mural format, where I put next to each other some of very controversial historical figures, silenced by an high-manipulated „majority“, who prefers to silence an uncomfortable reality rather than take responsibility for what they are unconsciously co-designing. Her serve consist of the juxtaposition of Seneca / Nero, Jesus / Barabbas, Giordano Bruno / Clemente VIII, Galileo / Paul V, Ahed Tamimi / Donald Trump, Julian Assange / Mark Zuckerberg, Marielle Franco / Jair Bolsonaro.
For the "UNARTIG - KUNSTFEST IM QUARTIER", organised by Urban Nation Museum and YAP, she chose the duo „Zuckerberg / Assange“.
Die STIFTUNG BERLINER LEBEN, organizer and initiator of the Stadtraum!Plus program and the URBAN NATION Museum, combines social and artistic projects for Berlin residential areas with street art and contemporary art. URBAN ART & CALLIGRAFFITI
ILLUSTRATION
WEB & GRAPHIC DESIGN

I was 12 when I first saw an extremely boring movie, with an embarrassing storytelling, which struck me for one single detail: a scene about CALLIGRAPHY.
The movie was Shakespeare in love (a small fictional version about the beginning of Shakespeare´s career) and in that total boredom, the only scene that struck me was the hand of a calligrapher (who played Shakespeare's one), writing his dramaturgy.
The handwriting was so beautiful, fluid and elegant (I would only discover very much later, that it was a Copperplate), that I absolutely wanted to copy it.
I like to think to that moment as my calligraphic baptism.
I have always been a very curious person, I have always read and studied with great passion: I act, I photograph, I draw (especially portraits and bodies ... the lines and the structure of faces and bodies have always fascinated me) and I write a lot. The words (both from a semantic and aesthetic point of view) are my ancient passion (it is no coincidence that I have a master's degree in Philology!) and, if I could, I would only practice calligraphy in life, in a perpetual meditative act of qualitative presence!
From that first baptism to today, 25 years have passed, in which I have had many experiences. I did a lot of art, I traveled a lot and I met people of all kinds, with absolutely different cultures, that somehow penetrated my artistic sense, to the point that all this extreme "wealth" has merged in me.
After a long, enlightening and meditative practice of classical calligraphy (especially Roman Capital, Uncial, Copperplate and Gothic) I abandoned the classical letter forms, for building up unique font, learning from "tradition" and projecting them into future.
I took four different calligraphic traditions and merged them together: I took the Arab tradition for developing a more fluid gesture; through the Italian tradition I regained possession on the geometrical and rational shapes, which add elegance to the composition and I added the Cyrillic structure and the mammoth power of the Gothic.
In my Street-art-works, through the repetition of words/quotes (written with my secret language) I create a ritual space, which allows the meeting between artwork and observer/spectator. Art has always needed (and will always need) a ritual space, in order to be experienced. I create this space through "words", which become like a written a mantra...
because "words" CREATE the Reality.
