THE CONCEPT & SOURCES (La Mente)
EN: The intervention establishes a transmedial bridge between the invisible architectures of Italo Calvino and the cyclical temporalities of the film Cloud Atlas. By deconstructing fragments from „Invisible Cities“, the work explores how human traces and desires endure within the city’s palimpsest.
DE: Die Intervention schlägt eine transmediale Brücke zwischen den unsichtbaren Architekturen von Italo Calvino und den zyklischen Zeitlichkeiten des Films Cloud Atlas. Durch die Dekonstruktion von Fragmenten aus „Die unsichtbaren Städte“ untersucht das Werk, wie menschliche Spuren und Sehnsüchte im Palimpsest der Stadt überdauern.
EN: Curated by Michelle Houston for the triennial exhibition „Love Letters to the City“, this project investigates the intersection of literary memory and urban space. As a central chapter of the museum's narrative, "Words on the Street“ transforms the central room of the Museum (called the "Cathedral") into a site of semiotic reflection.

METHODOLOGY (Il Gesto)
EN: The Phenomenology of the Gesture. Gestural calligraphy is my research methodology. Each stroke is a physical act of thinking—a ritual of spatial appropriation where the body translates abstract philosophical concepts into a biological trace on the concrete wall.
DE: Die Phänomenologie des Gestus. Gestische Kalligrafie ist meine Forschungsmethode. Jeder Strich ist ein physischer Akt des Denkens – ein Aneignungsritual, bei dem der Körper abstrakte philosophische Konzepte in eine biologische Spur auf der Betonwand übersetzt.

EN: "Made of Desire and Fear“ is more than an artwork; it is a visual mantra that invites a semiotic pause. In a metropolis of ephemeral signs, it seeks to prove that urban art can be a rigorous form of literary and philological criticism.
